The Skystream Pro running Android Pie 9. Android 9 is an extremely fast and powerful version of Android. But we weren’t happy with just having a great Android operating system. We wanted it faster and optimized for Streaming. So we collaborated with one of the most respected Android firmware developers from the XDA Developers (Android Developers) website to develop a highly polished operating system. We took out all of the bloatware, added system tweaks to speed up the processor and optimized just about everything else. This work increased our benchmark speeds by 10% compared to what the chipset manufacturer promises. Long story short, the Skystream Pro is insanely fast and can handle anything you throw at it, including 8K Video!
Skystream Pro Voice Capabilities
With voice technology becoming so popular lately, we wanted to include this capability into SkyStream Pro. Users will be able to press the voice button on the Bluetooth remote and say “OK Google, Search for a local restaurant” “OK Google, what is the weather today?” “OK Google, Search Netflix for Stranger Things.” With the Skystream Pro, Google is literally a few words away! In fact it's baked into the home screen :)
New BlueTooth Remote Control Airmouse
We completely redesigned the airmouse that comes with the SkyStream Pro to be easy to set up, easy to use with tons of functionality.
For starters the remote control pairs with your SkyStream Pro automatically through Bluetooth. So no more dongles.
Having the remote pair to the Pro through Bluetooth means that you don't even have aim the remote at the box anymore. The remote has roughly a 30 foot range!
Voice Control is built in so you can tell Google to do anything that you want by pressing and holding the microphone button.
We have added shortcut buttons to help you view open apps quickly. We created shortcut buttons for the Apps section, Netflix, Youtube and Google Play.
Updated UI
The Pro features a very simply yet very beautiful home screen with tons of functionality. We focused on making all of your favorite apps extremely easy to find and click on in a split second. Super easy even for the most technically unsavvy, but beautiful enough for even the most seasoned tech person to fall in love with!
The home screen can be customized to show recommended and recently watched content from apps like Pluto, Tubi TV as well as many other applications.
You can also create customized feeds for apps like Youtube that will show you recently uploaded videos from your subscriptions and recommended videos.
Long story short, you can access a ton of content from the home screen.

For the SkyStream Pro we went all out! The Wi-Fi chip allows you to connect to 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz Wi-Fi signals. We also added a 1,000 Mbps Ethernet port for anyone who has some serious internet speeds. No chintzy wifi chip or weak ethernet module like the other guys. The new Amlogic S905X3 SoC has four ARM Cortex-A55 CPU cores manufactured in 12nm, it integrates a Cortex-M4 processor with Neural Network Accelerator functions that provides improved performance as Virtual Assistants. It has native connections for HDMI 2.1 that reaches up to 8K@24fps and 4K@75fps compatible with multiple DRM security systems, USB 3.0 support, internal storage up to eMMC 5.0, Gigabit Ethernet and audio capacity up to 8 channels of audio input and output. In the graphic section we have an important leap in the GPU since now a Mali-G31 MP2 is integrated that far exceeds the previous Mali-450MP5 of the S905X.
